Mid USA origin, probably Arkansas or Tennessee. From a prominent Canadian Collector. Should this piece be Canadian , then the rock is more of a metamorphic nature due to its' folds present in the photos. A superb piece. Price: $179.00 USD

A relatively good sized specimen still in its' alluvial clay surrounding. The clay that surrounds the fossil is immensely fine and would probably pass through a number # 500 sieve by examination. A few ammonites have been discovered in the 4.5 to 7.5 foot diamter. Ammonites are now extinct , unlike the coelacanth fish , which once was thought to be extinct have now been discovered in a few locations in the indian ocean. Go figure. Price: $65.00 USD
