Standard 3 1/4 " model of the Iconic # 501 Knife. Circa 1966. Mint in the box with original paperwork. Blade is etched " WEBER - LUZERN " , so this blade was made to be retailed at the World Famous Webers knife shoppe in Lucerne , Switzerland . On the box there is also a secondary sticker that says " Ostende " , which is a Belgium Sporting goods retailer as well. The Knife is in GEM PRISTINE CONDITION and never used. I have never seen an original 501 model this old in this condition , anywhere . I have never seen an original box for a 3 1/4 ' Swiss army knife , anywhere in my lifetime, for a knife of this period. The box and knife for these combos this old are always separated , never to be united again. This combo is literally a freak of nature . I searched the web for an equivalent and found none , zero. There might be knives in mint condition out there in collections somewhere , and this one is destined for the same neighborhood. Excessively rare. Offers entertained.

Measures 2 " by 3 " by 5 " long . Outstanding condition with only some minor abrasion. Appears to be unused. Circa 1928 and manufactured by Kirby, Beard & Co of Paris , France . Although this duck shape is probably standard for the time period , the color and origin of retailer is not. Called " DUCKY " on the bottom . American and Canadian versions of the duck bottle opener were never called by this name. It is certainly odd that the writing is in English , but not terribly uncommon either . Between the wars many items were described in English due to the amount of servicemen still stationed in France. A wonderful hunters piece . RARE like this. Offers welcome.

End label says it all, model 36 Chiefs Special with Blue Finish and square butt with 3 inch barrel. 38 calibre. An awesome post war gun with plenty of stopping power for such a small gun in a J frame structure. A bodyguards favorite. This early dated 1955 box is in very good condition with no splitting. Shows age as expected. A fine example of a scarce gun box.
