Circa 400 BC - 400 AD . Black Rhyolite or Volcanic Hardstone. Measures 6 " long by 2 1/2 " wide. Excellent sharp edge. Stone has a nice " ring " sound to it when tapped. Shows hints of Obsidian and Mica present. Mid USA origin, probably Arkansas or Tennessee. From a prominent Canadian Collector. Should this piece be Canadian , then the rock is more of a metamorphic nature due to its' folds present in the photos. A superb piece.

This is from the Costa Rica Museum of Anthropology auctions of the mid 1970's. The museum was so overwhelmed with material that many sub grade items were sold in order to free up space as well as garner funds for other purposes. It was deemed that these items would never make it into their display cabinets, thusly they were sold for the collector market. The effigy measures 7 " long and is about 1.5 " thick. The body piece is intact, however , pieces are obviously missing from it. Circa approxiamately 600 AD to 1200 AD. Priced to sell .

Circa 3000 BC or near so. Pre-Flood and time of Noah and Enoch and the Nephilim. Measures 15 by 16 by 17mm, carved of unknown stone. From my own collection purchased from a New York Antiquities dealer in 1991. Excellent original and undamaged condition. Museum quality. Seals were used to mark clay documents and tablets to show ownership. Since theft was rampant before the flood seals were used as a primitive way of showing ownership, or if a door was opened, etc This seal represents one of the earliest viable and obtainable objects accessible. These are now extremely difficult to come by. This seal was used for impressions only as opposed to the popular cylinder seals which were rolled. Also has a hole to hang on a piece of metal or string. Excessively rare, yet still affordable.

Offered is a DAMAGED bronze Roman bell, please view pictures. **** It is an outer casing of what was once a bell. Excellent patina. Firstly , if this piece was intact; the price would be considerably more. Bells were apparently used everywhere from Chariots, dogs, residences , cattle and wild animals at the Roman Circuses. This bell is 1.5 " in diameter. The tie on bronze loop is still intact as well, giving it collectable appeal. A neat item.
