Offered is an all brass construction circa 1920's desk mounted gyroscopic spinner. No makers markings or origins. Never intended to be a full on gyroscope, but very similar. Two inner brass rings swing on opposite axis within a brass U-bracket. The metal; ring is currently a little stiff and needs some adjusting. The inner ring spins freely. Has tarnish areas subjected to it's now 100 year old life. Overall shows very nicely for a period piece. The epitome of the business executive, doctor, lawyer , teacher or anyone who had a prominent employment position. American , British or French in origin. For the top end Art Deco enthusiast. RARE ! The barrel upon which the elephant stands says " FRANJOU " , which might indicate that it was made my French Sculptor Hippolyte Francois. Circa 1923 - 24 . Measures 5 1/2 ' by 5 1/2 ' by 3 1/4 " wide. has normal wearing but nothing that constitutes damages. Incorporates glass egg yolk eyes. A cute piece on its' own and quite rare. It is obvious that whoever used these in the past just kept using the same ones over and over again. Circa 1930's with mellow deco influence. The heights of all the cordials are slightly different, amplifying the handmade element that went into these. measures roughly 2 3/8 ' h and 1 1/2 " wide. Price: $29.00 USD set

Everytime I see a piece of Equine Art Deco there is usually some sort of fault with them , this is rather minor than what I come across in the field. The marble type is seldom seen on art deco sculptures and is actually quite fancy. Looks great despite the small problem with the hoof, however it is priced accordingly. Still quite a rare item and a wonderful addition for the horse lover. Price: $150.00 USD

Silver over wash on the inside. Has normal base wearing. Though not worth as much as earlier iridescent Loetz glass , many of these 1930's pieces are extremely nice and very underrated . Common 1930's pastel colours were in the orange , yellow and black accent realm . Blue pieces are sure rarities and a nice prize for the advanced Loetz collector who collects Loetz through the 1930's. RARE. Price: $279.00 USD
