Off white colour. Measures 8 " high by 6 " wide. Carboy style. Comes with a later era 1920's Number # 7 sized rubber stop. The glass is however circa 1870 to 1880. Professionally cleaned inside by myself. The first style that I have seen with this style of molded wasp. Appears to be a lesser known Canadian made example. Found via estate sale in Orono , Ontario. Wasp traps usually come much simpler and were made by glass bottle makers. Examples with wasps are much rarer. Some American made examples with wasps are a little more common. This is the first that I have seen with this type of slender bodied wasp. Wasp traps have been reproduced or remade over the years and are still very functional, but not collectable. Remakes abound in the " beehive " or wasps nest shape. This trap is a premium example and worth a premium indeed. Not your everyday find of mold blown glass.

From the paperweight heydays of 1880 -1900. Measures 4 " diameter by a whopping 2 1/2 " thick. Superb condition with lots of base wearing , one light edge scuff. The top has been professionally polished to give the paperweight the clarity needed to view the paperweight. This piece was cherry picked from an Ontario collection which was perhaps the best known assembling ever put together in Canada. This paperweight wasn't the most expensive in this collection by far, however , it was one of the nicest ones in my opinion. It is American made but I do not know the company. Scarce.

This is at least vintage if not older. The rim is is marked " Sterling by Saben ", often confused and misread as " Laben " which is wrong. Information is somewhat sketchy about Saben ; they were located in New York in the 1950's , then moved to Miami during the 1960's and soon closed down by the early 1970's. Saben had a large affiliation with Hazel Glass Company , which was formed in 1902. Judging by the style and condition of the glass and silver, this piece must have been produced by the 1920's and into the depression era of the 1930's. It is in excellent condition or better. The molded drop rings on each side show verdigris in the crevices from bygone years and has been left alone but should easily clean out. There are a few very tiny nicks to the sterling silver rim. Measures 3 " high by about 2 1/2 ' mean diameter. Check your " Heaton " guide for possibly more information. My copy is on loan at the moment.

Title just about says it all. Measures 6 1/2 " high by about 3 1/2 " wide at bottom , 3 " diameter at top. Circa 1888 - 1895 . Very strong glowing under a black UV light and highly radioactive. Out standing condition with no cracks or chips , base wearing as expected. Over the past 15 years on site , vaseline glass has been a consistent seller with a worldwide following. Be careful as to what you buy, there is plenty of reproduction vaseline glass from the 1920 to 1960 era. Type one slimy , hand blown vaseline glass is not known to be reproduced due to the dangers involved, it is the mold blown glass that one should be weary of.

Measures 8 " high , unsigned. Done in VASELINE GLASS with a blue back. Circa 1965 or a little earlier. Ecellent condition for the age and shape. The mouth has a small chip and one wing tip has the slightest of flakes. Overall shows very well. Finding one better would be a tall task as these are quite rare as it is already. The body Vaseline glass is very vibrant and glows very strongly. This bird has so much radiation is should be illegal to own. Quite rare and is destined for the advanced Murano glass collection. I don't know what type of bird this is , perhaps a swan or dancing duck. Only a handful of murano glass blowers dared to blow Vaseline glass, given the early history of Vaseline blowers who all died of lung cancer.
