Take your pick on this one. Made of solid cast and machined bronze. No makers markings. Has a pedestal base with a two-tier pyramid step. Measures 2 1/2 ' high by 1 7/8 " wide. I have never seen one of these before but i myself, love the look ! I'm calling it art deco but it could have easily been made anywhere betwen 1890 and 1930. Would be a standout in any collection of the above mentioned sorts. Could be a heavy shot glass or liquer glass as well ? ; but who would drink from bronze ?

A very old baseball glove. It is hard to really understand why this glove never made it to the garbage bin. Now however, it is a sports museum piece. Made of leather and unmarked as to manufacturer. It is in really worn condition. Missing lots of wool stuffing or padding, but you can get the idea of how this glove once was when it was brand new. The pinkey finger part of the glove is actually quite nice for the age. The middle fingers has taken lots of wear. Belongs in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown just for surviving all of this time. Scarce .

Unmarked as to manufacturer. Looks custom or preivately made. Measures 3 " diameter by a whopping 2 1/4 " thick. Choice excellent condition with appropriate aging. No trauma damage. Base metal is a hardened pewter, plated with nickel and then plated with silver, ( of which little remains ). Threaded cap has an inner cork gasket to stop leaks. Has a very obscure and well made hinged handle. Cap is also knurled. Looks circa 1850 - 1870 due its' bulbuous design. I have never seen anything like this one before. Most likley for brandy. If it were a powder flask it would have had a quick release measuring spout. Extremely rare as such. Museum quality.

A dandy knife that is at least 150 years old. Handmade very well. Comes with the original flintstone sharpener that has seen tonnes of usage. The handle is made of horn or perhaps bone, but I am thinking horn. Not very large , but it is standard pocket size or just a tad larger. People have emailed in saying that this is an old doctors " fleam " used for bleeding people and is perhaps as old as the late 1700's and is worth more as such. Based on the sharpness of the blades, this is most likely so.

Circa 1860's or nearly so. Double stamped by " J D Calvert " on the top lid. Nicely worked two piece construction with a bult in " spine " at the back of the inkwell. No liner present , however I am unsure that if a liner cup was ever used as there is lots of dried ink inside. J D Calvert should be researched. Measures roughly 2 1/4 " by 2 1/4 " inches.

Circa 1900 - 1910. Silver plated copper candy dish with light art nouveau decoration. The interior emblem reads " National Exhibition, Toronto " . This was before the Exhibition was called the Canadian National Exhibition or the CNE. The interior emblem is enamelled metal showing the Princess gates , which still stands today. CNE archive collecting is an amazing area of study. Though I've never seen an early candy dish like this, there are lots of other neat things to find such as ruby glasses with various descriptions, Indian bead items and the ever popular CNE Medals shaped like a tombstone. Measures 3 1/2 " across by 1 " high. Excellent condition but used in the past. RARE.
