If it's the wrong tank then I'll have to go over World War one History again. It might be " Little Willie " as well but you get the picture. It's an advertising paperweight for McKechnie Brothers Brassworks of Newcastle on Tyne. Written all over it is exactly what this company did for copper and brass...well you guessed it , everything including the paperweight . Extrusions, copper wire, cast brass , rods, pipes , pressings, etc. Measures roughly 3 1/2 " by 2 1/4 " . Solid brass and very heavy. A wonderful WWI item. Rare as such. Circa 1917- 1922.
