Arcade had very poor record keeping , crazy distribution and an endless run of models, modifications, colour changes . Some items are common while other items are extremely rare or one of a kind. The hydrovac crew uncovered this piece in their work and is now back to life on the internet. All original and still retains some of the original gold paint. The bear is obviously pitted from groundwater and salt attack. Still cute and quite the rescue. Circa 1880's . Price: $49.00 USD

The rough condition box is probably a little later from the 1940's. 13 chips light and 13 chips dark. Crokinole or caroms usually involved play with 12 chips so 1 was extra in case you lost one. The wooden cover is totally off and needs to be restored. This should be done professionally to give the box character. Hollow crokinole chips are very rare to come by. If you have an old baord, these chips are the perfect match. Great for the cottage. ! I don't expect this set to last long. Price: $50.00 CDN

Silver yo-yo's were made by Gorham and a few other smaller companies. Tiffany started making some off and on from the 1970's. All silver yo-yo's are rare. A substantial proportion of what is available are all on online sites and auctions. They are very underated and should be worth substantially more. These were toys for rich boys and girls. Fully marked. The outer casing is sterling silver only , the innards of the yo-yo are made of a more durable steel. 20 -30 more serious toy collectors can dry up the silver yo-yo market and put these pieces on a pricing pedestal that they deserve. Consider what some 1970's Duncan yo-yo's are worth and you have a bargain for these beautiful antiques. Price: $200.00 USD
