Made of solid brass. Measures 5 " high by about 5 ' wide. Matching numbers for both pieces. The bottom is skillfully monogrammed in the likes of the Wiener Werkstatte, as it reads " EK " in a polygon box. I have seen similar styles engraved circa 1906 or earlier on the sides. This would make this ensemble circa 1895 - 1920 at latest. I don't handle many mortars but this one caught my attention and seems quite important , in way of style, condition and the monogram marking on the bottom. I've checked online and haven't found any identical matches; and certainly no monograms !

Measures 6 " by 4 " by 2 " . Very fine to nice excellent condition , has light wearing due its' fragile nature . I've seen these a few times in the past but never pursued one due to the condition sensitivity of these pieces. This piece however is by far the nicest I have ever seen. Manufacture is lacquered basa wood. Some of the stripes on the top of the box are actually precision silvering to the Quality standards of Jean Dunand and G Sandoz of Paris France. Extreme deco from the 1920's era. Possibly made for export to French tourist destinations as the bottom is just marked " foreign " , any help shedding more light on these spectacular museum quality art deco objects is much appreciated. Offers considered.

This series of dispenser proved popular and was made by various manufacturers pre and post war. Later issues are marked Korea, left blank or something else , quality and finish also wanes somewhat. Measures 6 1/2 " tall by 3 " diameter for the bowl and top. No damage , perfect condition with marginal base wear. I wish I had a set of these but this one was found alone. Appears American, circa 1930. Possibly made by a depression era glass company but I haven't found the handle on it yet. If one of you know who made it then please forward information. The design element lies in the stem, which is cobalt blue in the shape of stacked insulators. , Donald Desky and Dorwin Teague adopted this for some of their designs in the 1930's as well. Scarce.

Circa 1928 - 1933. Canadian made. Roughly measures 4 by 4 by 6 inches. Condition looks impeccable for something that should be all scratched up , being a school purpose tin. Excellent graphics and colour combination. There is a very faint spray of old beigy paint on the back of the tin , i wouldn't try to remove it as it doesn't detract the tin at all. Looks MINT !
