Measures 4 " high by 3 " diameter. OUTSTANDING CONDITION and the BEST I HAVE EVER seen in the mercury glass genre. Museum quality. made by the very obscure Boston Silver Glass Company , sometime between 1852 and 1880. Made solely for decorative purposes and considered America's first true art glass. Double wall construction , which is a must for true mercury glass. Meticulously hand spun with engine turn design. Typical broken pontil mark. Truly off the charts for rarity. If you collect art glass by type , then this gold mercury glass cabinet vase is a must have bucket list item. ULTRA RARE .

Measures 8 1/2 " diameter. No damage. Circa 1905 now making this glass piece 114 years old. This pattern is in limbo as it seems that it was shared between Jefferson and Northwood companies. Not the first pattern to be virtually the same between 2 or more competing companies. 1997 Book value puts this piece at $35. From a very large recently purchased collection of pottery and glass.

Stands 5 " high and is about 3.25 " at its' widest. Condition on this item has to be mentioned. ****** The top spout part has been broken off ( we didn't do it ) and re-attached. Amazingly it was only broken in " two ". If this piece was in perfect condition it would be asking $400 - $650 , however , we have determined it to be much less now. This is still a wonderful piece that can grace any art glass collection and is very rare. Made in Bohemia near Teplitz, by Glasfabrik Antonienhuette, Ullersdorf, circa 1900 by a metal reduction technique used to imitate ancient Roman Glass dug out of the ground. FIVE pictures in total.

Signed " Kosta O - 6071 " , the only signature documented for the O marking is Edvin Ollers, if it is his work these pieces were made in the period of 1930-1931, if not they are mid-century by a different maker, however looks can be deceiving. Vicke Lindstrand also made glass much ahead of its' time for design as well. Online help on the dating of this piece has been problematic and unsuccessful. There aren't many around like this signed as such however and a few of these pieces similar to this are by other makers in the 1950's. Kosta experts out there please help me out. No damage but does have base wear. Measures 7 " tall by 4 " long and 2 " wide. Very art deco in its' approach.
