Measures 4 1/4 " high by 3 1/4 " diameter. Trademarked for 1888 and bears Columbian Exposition award from 1893. Now that was a far trip for a good taste of cheese ! These Ontario heritage crocks from the past are very rare and most reside in the county cheese factory museum locally and in other parts of the Province. This pieces comes in from a ginger beer bottle collector of over 35 years who also collected items related to his home town of Ingersoll. A very rare item.

A very old baseball glove. It is hard to really understand why this glove never made it to the garbage bin. Now however, it is a sports museum piece. Made of leather and unmarked as to manufacturer. It is in really worn condition. Missing lots of wool stuffing or padding, but you can get the idea of how this glove once was when it was brand new. The pinkey finger part of the glove is actually quite nice for the age. The middle fingers has taken lots of wear. Belongs in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown just for surviving all of this time. Scarce .

Unmarked as to manufacturer. Looks custom or preivately made. Measures 3 " diameter by a whopping 2 1/4 " thick. Choice excellent condition with appropriate aging. No trauma damage. Base metal is a hardened pewter, plated with nickel and then plated with silver, ( of which little remains ). Threaded cap has an inner cork gasket to stop leaks. Has a very obscure and well made hinged handle. Cap is also knurled. Looks circa 1850 - 1870 due its' bulbuous design. I have never seen anything like this one before. Most likley for brandy. If it were a powder flask it would have had a quick release measuring spout. Extremely rare as such. Museum quality.
