Produced was a spectacular functioning reel made of high quality stainless steel and aluminum alloys. Unfortunately is was very expensive compared to the mass producers and was hard to make quickly and cheaply. I guess that you can really say that the mass makers really " paid up front " to have their tackle on the store shelves. This reel is UNFISHED and is gleaming mint , mint underneath the dust as I haven't touched or attempted to clean up or even wipe down the reel. basically what you see on the reel is paper or box dust . The metal still is glistening underneath. Complete with a rather oxidized second spare spool, the instructions and the original , albeit very broken down and tatty original box. A nice estate find ! It is still hard to fathom that good tackle is still buried away in peoples houses and storerooms. Offers considered. Price: $180.00 USD

Superb quadruple chrome finish only attributable to Gregory or Allcock , however , this bait resembles both companies and could have been a joint trial or experimental lure. Superb Gem mint with only the faintest of touches or scraping. Full original brand new hook and full original paint behind the double - propeller. The body of the lure is a SEALED double sided hollow Colorado Chamber in the teardrop shape. The front of the lure is an innovative spinning propeller as opposed to affixed wings like the Colorado lures. It is noted that both Gregory & Allcock had their own Colorado spinner. This lure however ups the ante in design and looks like a combined marketing effort. Perhaps in his retirement Gregory still designed lures with the help of Allcock, and produced some of his shapes ? Any way you look at it, this lure is extremely UNCOMMON, the first that I have ever encountered.....and in gleaming mint condition, Condition and rarity and uniqueness all rolled into one package. Made for only a short time as it was a bit pricey and had to endure lots of lesser priced competition.
