Circa late 1950' s. Measures &' high by 5 " wide by 3 " . Superb condition with no damage. Base commensurate with age. Made with Flavio Poli's signature colors in a fused ribbing technique. Flavio Poli along with Antonio Da Ros really got the glass animal making on a roll in Murano in the 1950's . Earliest animal examples have the best color and showability. Today at Murano the most popular animal in the shops is the symbolic Italian Lion , long overdue as the glass masters of the early years weren't known for making lions. This duck is fresh from an extensive purchase I had to make in its' near entirety, so prices are currently under full retail asking.

Measures 10 1/2 " high by about 5 ' wide. No chips or flakes , but does have a light abrasion at the top and some areas of contact. Worthy of any glass museum and is currently in my own collection. Since there are no stickers on this piece it is hard to tell who made it. The execution is Flavio Poli , but the colours might indicate Mandruzatto. Circa 1950 's or a little later. Any way you slice it ... it is a work of art and 1st class. Red core with a middle layer of blue followed by clear. Scarce.

Perfect condition. Measures 12 " diameter by 3 " high. Most likely executed by Alfredo Toso. About 10 - 15 years ago these pieces were fetching $300 - $400 at auction and better shows.
