These medals come via an Ontario Estate and were issued to the recipient, however, they were never engraved or monogrammed, so they have NO personalization associated with them. All original boxes as well. The best factor with this grouping is that they are in utmost pristine condition. Three are in silver as well. Over 2 oz troy altogether. Price: $179.00 CDN

Whoever made this token took off excess weight all around the token making it similar to a Canadian nickel in the 1950's with a rigid edge. Sometimes called the " Bitit " blacksmith token as well. The coin is superb Gem proof, struck in sterling silver and 24 Karat gold plated. It is very hard to keep this set in inventory, especially since many dealers rip out the 3 cents coin and leave the commemorative stamp and stamp medallion to fend for itself.

The commonly found pieces are usually in bronze, this one however is in silver and is very scarce to come by. Only 2 or 3 are known in gold. It is hard to determine the exact number of silver survivors. I have given the figure of perhaps less than 200 pieces as a basis point.
